BUYING A FORGERY CAN SOMETIMES SAVE YOU SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS BUT THERE IS A BIG DOWNSIDE.

A copy is one thing but a forgery can actually be taken away from you by a police detective and be used as evidence in an intellectual property case.
This case might not even concern you. More than likely the case will be leveled at the person or persons who were involved in the crime.  Be assured Counterfeiting a guitar is a crime !!!! Making a copy is just a civil offense.

You can only sue someone for making a copy but you can go to jail over a forgery !!!!!

Fillmore company will prosecute forgers to the full extent of the law this includes any and all persons who are making guitars that say Mosrite on the headstock or pickups that say Mosrite on them or tremolos that say Vibra Mute.

Gibson & Fender probably have more copy cats but with Mosrite fakers are actually printing the name "Mosrite" on each instrument. Many of these people are representing these guitars as original Mosrites.
